Mordecai Dicker, MD, is a highly experienced, board-certified gastroenterologist providing expert services to the community of Great Neck, New York.

Dr. Dicker graduated summa cum laude in 1984 from Queens College, City University of New York and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, America’s oldest academic honors society. He completed his medical degree in 1988 at New York University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital, followed by his residency and then a fellowship in gastroenterology at Bellevue.

Dr. Dicker began in private practice as a gastroenterologist at NYU Medical Center in 1994 and joined North Shore Gastroenterology Associates in 1998. He is on staff at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset and Glen Cove, New York, where he teaches medical students, interns, residents, and gastroenterology fellows. Dr. Dicker is a clinical associate professor in the department of medicine at Hofstra University North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine and is a member of the professional staff at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, New York. 

Dr. Dicker has particular interest and expertise in colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. He is an expert endoscopist and colonoscopist. Over his years of clinical practice, Dr. Dicker has attained fellowships in the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Gastroenterological Association.
